DOOMSDAY 2000  December 31st, 2000  Moline, Illinois

 

The camera comes on and the intro plays showing Jacket and Chapel first and all the matches leading up to the big one tonight, then it shows the problems between the three stables leading up to the nine man stable tag team match.  The Last Resort kicks in and the proy goes off up and down the ramp.  The intro comes to an end and the picture on the titon tron changes.  Now on it we see a big timer that reads three hours, and it starts to tick down.

Mike/Welcome we are only three hours and twenty mins away from the start of the new year, and the end of Doomsday!

Dolby/We have been told that this show will be huge and that their will be a huge surprise at the end of the count down.

Mike/I wonder what it will be?

Dolby/I don't know.  But many question are being asked about tonight and the nine man stable tag team match.

Mike/One of those is if the Trinity will be able to stay together.

Dolby/We have all seen that they are falling a part, with each one plotting against the others.

Mike/Another question is will the BBOP be at full power with Stealth's shoulder problems.

Dolby/But right now its time for are first match, and its between Stunna and Hurricane.

Mike/It seems these two have already started in the back!

It cuts to the back and we see Hurricane and Stunna fighting, Hurricane tosses Stunna into a wall taking him down.  He then lays into him with lefts and rights.   The two brawl a bit more untill they come out on to the stage.  Stunna goes for a super kick but Hurricane catches his foot, Stunna quickly changes and trys a spinning wheel kick nailing Hurricane in the back of the head.  They fight down to the ring and Stunna rolls him in.  Stunna climbs to the top rope and goes for the Number 1 Stunna but Hurricane gets his knees up.

Mike/That was a good move on Hurricane's part.

Hurricane then nails the hurricane thrill ride and covers for the three.

Dolby/Hurricane has just won this match.

Hurricane stands Stunna back up and lifts him onto his should and runs him into the turnbuckle a couple of times and then drops him and walks up the ramp to Rollin.

Mike/Stunna looks like he could really be hurt now.

It cuts to the back and we see a limo pull up.

Mike/I wonder who that is?

Just then the door opens and Jacket climbs out with a black bag, then Support and Karv get out behind her.

Jacket/Now you guys are going to have my back here tonight right.

Support nods his head as does Karv.

Jacket/Great, now Im going to go and get ready.

She walks off as it goes back to the ring.

Mike/Well its now time for are first women's match of the night.

"Devil Without a Cause" kicks on over the soundsystem, and Eclipse walks out.  She plays to the crowd a bit, and slides into the ring, playing to the crowd some more.  Then "Bad Religion" kicks on over the soundsystem, and Angel runs down to the ring, sliding in.  She immediately leaps onto Eclipse and they roll around for a bit.  Eclipse pulls Angel to her feet by her hair, and tosses her halfway across the ring.  Eclipse walks over to Angel and pulls her up by her hair again, and again tosses her across the ring.  Angel gets back up, however, and spears Eclipse to the ground.  Angel pulls Eclipse to her feet and hits a snap suplex, getting a two count.  Angel then pulls Eclipse to her feet, and hits a DDT, getting a three count.

It cuts to the back again and we see Ellis standing with the Kidds.

Ben/Well tonight you two have to defend the hardkore tag team titles for the very first time.

HFK/Yeah, I know its so totally unfair.

Ben/What do you mean unfair?

DDK/We mean, that its unfair that we have to defend are so totally awesome titles against some stapler nut and some guy out of a comic book.

HFK/Even though it was a totally awesome comic book.

Ben/Ok...

HFK/We need to get going were up next.

It goes back to the ring and Are You Ready comes on over the speakers as the Kidds come down to the ring alone.  They climb in and their music fades out as The Way I Am comes on.  Cookie and Xavier then come out of the crowd and nails the Kidds from behind.  The music fades out and the two teams start to exchange blows.  Cookie sends HFK out of the ring to the floor on the outside.  Inside the ring DDK nails Xavier with a couple good blows and then a spinning wheel kick to the head.

Mike/We haven't seen much tag team wrestling so far.

Cookie tosses HFK over the railing into the crowd and nails him with a couple more forearms.  They over toward the stage, where HFK gains control.  He slams Cookie face first into a table and then does a brain buster DDT onto the concrete.

Dolby/Cookie's not moving!

HFK plays to the crowd for a second before climbing onto the table, he then goes for a moonsault but Cookie sits up at the last second causing HFK to hit the ground hard.  Back in the ring DDK goes for a frankenstiner on Xavier, but Xavier just turns it into a powerbomb.

Mike/Xavier just gave everything he had in that powerbomb, I don't think ether one of them are getting up.

Mean while HFK pulls Cookie to his feet and drags him down to the ring, he then slams him face first into the turnbuckle dropping Cookie.  Annexx then comes down and does a DDT to HFK, she then walks up the way but gets nails from behind by Thrill with a clothesline.

Mike/Annexx seems to have sided with Bronxx and his friends.

Dolby/But Thrill is out here to make sure this match will stay as fair as posable.

Inside the ring Xavier goes for a super kick on DDK, but DDK catches his foot and pulls him in for a tornado DDT, he quickly gets to the top rope and hits the senton bomb, and covers for the three count.

Mike/What a match, the Kidds retain the titles.

The camera cuts to a locker room in the back where Straight Jacket is getting ready for her match. She is bent over a table, looking in a black duffel bag. After about a minute she starts to look franticly. Straight Jacket call out without even looking up from the bag.

Straight Jacket/Karv.....KARV!

Karv emerges from behind a door.

Karv/What?

Straight Jacket/Have you seen my pills? You know, the little red ones that keep Ravena under control.

Karv/Oh, no, sorry.

Straight Jacket/Dammit.

There is a knock at the door.

Karv/Should I get it?

Straight Jacket shakes her head no, but the door is busted down. About ten men in uniforms stomp in. Karv tries to run, but two of the bigger men catch him.

Straight Jacket/What the hell is this?

None for the men answer but they drag Karv out the door.

Straight Jacket/Don’t worry! I’ll get you out of what ever you're in.

It cuts back to the ring.

Mike/I wonder what that's all about.

"Head Like a Hole" kicks on over the soundsystem, and Yoko Hama walks out onto the ramp, carrying the Hardcore Title Belt on his shoulder.  He makes his way halfway down the ring, and Kidd Vicious attacks him from behind.

Dolby/  I guess this match is starting now!

Mike/  Looks like it.

Yoko and Kidd brawl for a few moments, but Yoko's size prevails as Yoko picks up Kidd and gives him a Sumo Side Slam onto the metal grating of the ramp.  Yoko pulls Kidd to his feet, and hoists him up on his shoulder.  Yoko charges at the ringpost, and slams Kidd into it, spine first.

Dolby/  Ouch!  That had to hurt!

Yoko tosses Kidd back into the ring, and rolls in as well.  Getting up, Yoko walks into a few right hooks from Kidd, but ducks under the last one, and hits a Body Avalanche.  Pulling Kidd to his feet, Yoko Hama picks up Kidd onto his shoulder, and signals for a Fire Thunder Driver.  He drops, but accidentally slides Kidd too far down, and Kidd's head and neck slam against the mat.

Dolby/  Oh my God!

Mike/  Get the paramedics down here!  We have a situation!

Yoko immediately slides out of the ring and heads up the ramp.  The paramedics run down the ramp and slide into the ring, checking on a downed Kidd.  Farley removes his headset and slides into the ring, and helps the paramedics out.

Dolby/  Ladies and gentlemen, this was not planned.  This was not scripted.  That was not scheduled to happen, ladies and gentlemen.

The paramedics set Kidd on a stretcher and carry him out slowly.  They leave up the ramp.

Dolby/We need to go to the back again now for some words with Bronxx.

It cuts to the back and we see Haze and Bronxx together.

Haze/Bronxx, what do you think of your match tonight with Thrill?

Bronxx/My match tonight, will be the most brutal match in the history of the EHWF.  You see Im going to do what ever it takes to win, just like I did when I won my first hardcore title back in the MWWF.

Haze/Well it seems that Thrill has a lot of built up anger, do you think that will make him more dangerous.

Bronxx/They, Im sure it will, but he still stands no chance in hell against me.

Bronxx then walks off toward the ring as it cuts back to ring side.  We see that Mike is back at ring side and looks a little shaken up.

Mike/Well the cage is being lowed down now.

Just then Nickleback comes on and Thrill comes out running.  He slides into the ring though the door and climbs onto the turnbuckle.  Next the lights go out and Devil Without A Cause comes on, when the lights come back up Bronxx is standing at ring side in front of the door.  He climbs in and the door is locked behind them.  The two start to exchange blows, and Bronxx gets the upper hand.

Dolby/Thrill wont win this if he tries to brawl with Bronxx!

Mike/Both of these wrestlers have held the hardcore title in the past.  But only Thrill has in this fed.

Bronxx sends Thrill into the ropes, and goes for a clothesline, but Thrill ducks his arm and jumps up onto his shoulders and does a head scissors takedown.  Thrill gets right back to his feet and goes off the ropes again and nails a running bulldog.  Thrill then starts to climb the cage, he gets about half way when Bronxx gets back to his feet.  Bronxx then locks up a belly to back suplex taking Thrill back down.  Bronxx and Thrill get up at about the same time, Thrill charges at Bronxx for a clothesline, but Bronxx does a back body drop sending Thrill off the top rope into the cage wall.  Thrill falls back down and rolls back into the ring under the bottom rope holding his head.  Bronxx then sends Thrill into the corner and climbs up onto the second rope and starts to nail him with blows to the head.  Thrill grabs the back of Bronxx's legs and steps out from the corner and drops back causing Bronxx to hit his head on the top turnbuckle.

Dolby/Bronxx could be out cold!

Thrill gets up slowly while out of the comes Cookie and Eclipse.  Cookie nails the ref at ringside and takes the keys to the cage.  He unlocks it and then slides in a two tables and a chair.  He climbs in and nails Thrill with the chair, and while Eclipse sets one table up by the ropes and the other she sets up half way in the corner.  Cookie waits for Thrill to get back up and charges at him for a second chair shot, but Thrill turns it into a monkey flip though the half set up table in the corner, and then grabs Eclipse from behind and tosses her out of the cage.

Mike/Both Bronxx and Thrill are bleeding now!

Bronxx starts to climb out of the cage while Thrill is throwing Eclipse out.  Thrill sees him at the last second and grabs the bottom of his foot and pulls him back into the ring and then hits a belly to back of his own off the top of the cage.  Both wrestlers are down and Annexx comes out down to the ring, she climbs into the already unlocked door and gets to the top turnbuckle near the table and the two wrestlers.  Bronxx is the first to his feet and then Thrill, they both look at Annexx.  She jumps off and does a hurricanrana to Bronxx though the table.

Mike/What in the....?

Thrill then climbs the cage and goes over the top and wins.

Mike/We have a new International Champion here tonight!

Dolby/And it looks like Annexx is back with the rest of the BtG!

Annexx and Thrill walk up the ramp as it cuts to the back and the "Support" is in the backstage area. He is swinging his fists, fighting an imaginary person. Straight Jacket walks into the room. She stops the masked man.

Straight Jacket/Listen man, Karv is gone, and I need to know that you have my back. Do you?

The man is about to answer, when a woman bursts in through the door. She looks nothing like a wrestler. She puts her hands on her hips.

Woman/So it is true! Are you having an affair?

Straight Jacket/Woah, Ma'am, I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't even know you.

Woman/I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to Steven, my husband.

With that she rips Off "Support's" mask. It reveals none other than Steve Nokia.

Straight Jacket/Dude, you're Married?

He shrugs his shoulders, as the woman grabs his arm.

Woman/You must be the dumbest woman ever. I mean, to call the wife of the man you are having an affair with? Then you leave a message that he's cheating with you? What is your problem?

Straight Jacket/What?!? I never called you.

Woman/Well, it sure sounded like you. Come on Steven, we are going home.

The woman drags Nokia out of the room, with Jacket holding her hands after them.

Straight Jacket/NOW  what am I supposed to do?

It goes back to the ring.

Mike/Jacket is having some bad luck here tonight.

Dolby/Yeah well we will see if it cares over into her match.

Just then 5th Drain comes on and Annexx comes out with Thrill at her side.  She comes down to the ring and climbs in, she picks up a mic, and singles to have her music cut.

Annexx/Now Zoe, since we are still on the same side, we will just call this match a firendly rival.

Just then Liberate comes on and zoe walks out with Zues at her side, they get a little way down the ramp when the Kidds and Angel come out.  The Kidds attackes Zues while Angel goes after Zoe.  Annexx and Thrill head up the ramp and start to help with the brawl.  Next Punisher and Stealth comes out to help Zues and Zoe comes out and the two stables brawl into the back.

Dolby/It seems the BtG and the BBOP are against each other again.

Mike/Hey we are down to only an hour and a half left on the count down.

Dolby/Well heres a video package of the next match.

It shows Jacket winning the world title from Brink with help from Chapel, then it shows Chapel and Brink fighting for number one contender and Chapel winning with help from Jacket.  Then it shows a number of mixed tag team matches, and the VP making the match a ladder table match for tonight.  Then last it shows the cage match on the last show, where Jacket went off the side of the cage though a table.

Mike/This has been out standing here tonight!

Just then the lights start to flash on and off as Offspring come on and Jacket comes out her hair still colored pink and the world title around her waist.

Mike/This is what happened just four nights ago on FullHouse

It shows a clip of both Jacket and Chapel standing on top of the cage.  Jacket runs at Chapel but gets flipped off the side though the table below.  The clip then ends.

Dolby/Jacket is lucky she didn't have any major injuries after that fall.

She gets to the bottom of the ramp and looks at the ladder and then at the tables sitting at ring side.  She then climbs into the ring and gets on the top turnbuckle and holds the title in the air, to a huge pop from the crowd.  She gets down and hands the title over to the ref.  Just then her music cuts off and One Step Closer comes on.

Mike/And here comes the challenger!

The blue flames shot up about ten feet high, when they go down Chapel is standing in the middle of them.  He walks down to the ring slowly never taking his eyes off Jacket.  He stops at the bottom of the ramp and a smile comes across his face.  He then points at Jacket and at one of the tables next to him.

Mike/I think he's talking about FullHouse.

Jacket does a baseball slide into the face of Chapel sending him stumbling back up the ramp.  She then gets out of the ring and nails him with a couple elbows to the face.  She then locks up with him and sends him into the side of the ring and then charges at him, but he lifts her up and drops her down face first onto the ring apron.  Chapel then grabs a table and slides it into the ring, he then slides in a second table.  He then starts to set it up a third table on the outside, as Jacket slowly gets back to her feet.  Chapel sets her up for the Steeple and does it though the table.

Mike/Chapel just has to climb the ladder now and get the title!

Chapel grabs the ladder and slides it in and then he climbs in after it he starts to set it up and begins to climb, but Jacket who has finally got back up climbs into the ring and pushes the ladder over sending Chapel out of the ring to the floor outside.  She then starts to set up the two tables inside of the ring, as Chapel gets up slowly on the outside.

Dolby/This match is starting to get out of hand!

Jacket then goes off the ropes and does a top rope body press to the outside nailing Chapel and taking him down again.  She stands him up slowly and rolls him back into the ring.  She then climbs in after him and sets him up for a suplex though the table, but Chapel reverse it.

Mike/Both wrestlers are down in the ring now!

Just then Thrill comes down to the ring with Annexx at his side, he grabs a chair and climbs in.  Chapel is the first to his feet, and he sees Thrill, and again he starts to smile.

Dolby/This doesn't look good for the champion Jacket!!

Jacket gets to her feet holding onto the top rope, Thrill goes to hit here but does a 180 and nails Chapel over the head with it.

Mike/What in the?!?!

Thrill then climbs out of the ring and walks up the ramp backward with his arm around Annexx.  Jacket starts to set up the ladder and then starts to climb, Chapel gets back up slowly and begins to climb the other side of the ladder, they both get to the top at about the same time.

Dolby/Jacket cant win this match till she puts Chapel though a table!

They both exchange blows back and forth, Jacket starts to fall backward, but catches herself, she quickly grabs Chapels head and does the Jacket Strapper off the top of the ladder though one of the two tables below.

Mike/That's a fifteen foot drop!

After a little bit Jacket gets to her feet, and starts up the ladder again, Chapel gets up just in time to grab her foot, but she kicks him in the face and he stumbles backward onto the other table.  She gets about half way up the ladder and stops holding her head as if she was dizzy, she shakes it off and climbs to the very top, and reaches up for the title, she almost has it when she stops.

Dolby/What is she doing?!?!

Mike/Im not sure, she has it won!

Jacket then turns toward Chapel who is still laying on the table below, she points at it and then singles for the Winger!

Mike/She wouldn't, would she?

Just then Jacket does the Winger off the top of the ladder, but Chapel rules off at the last second and Jacket goes though the table.

Dolby/My god!

Chapel gets up slowly and stands Jacket up, he sets her on the top rope and does the Steeple from the top rope this time.  He then climbs the ladder and grabs the title.

Mike/We have a new champion!

Dolby/That match was outstanding, and it looks like we have seen the end of Thrill and Chapel as the BtG leaders.

Mike/Yeah I think so, but now its time for the last man standing match.

Dolby/HardKore asked for this match after Blaze cost him the tag team titles.

Just then Hells Bells starts and Blaze comes out onto the ramp, he gets a little ways down before HardKore comes out behind him and nails him with a chair.

Mike/The match is under way.

Dolby/Remember the only way to win is to keep the other wrestler down for a ten count.

Blaze gets to his feet and nails HardKore with a stiff arm clothesline as he charges at him.  Blaze stands HardKore up and backs him into the backstage area with lefts and rights.  The cameras cut to the back where we see Blaze lift HardKore up and drop him down on top of a table.  Blaze then grabs a two by four and goes to hit HardKore but HardKore ducks it and comes up with a spinning wheel kick to the face of Blaze taking him down.

Mike/HardKore's starting to get the upper hand now!

HardKore grabs a monitor off the table and smashes it into the face of Blaze breaking him open.  HardKore then picks up a cinder block and waits for Blaze to get to his feet again, and nails him over the back of the head.

Mike/That should do it!

The ref starts to the count, five...six...seven, just then Blaze starts to move and pulls himself to his feet.  HardKore cant believe it, he gives him a kick to the midsection and then a spinning neck breaker.  Againg the ref starts to count, but Blaze gets up at about eight.

Dolby/What will it take to keep him down!?!?

HardKore goes over to Blaze and goes for a snap suplex but its blocked and reversed though a table.  Blaze then stands HardKore up and nails him with a couple of rights and slams his head into the wall a couple of times.  They fight down the hall and into the parking lot.  HardKore starts to get the upper hand again and goes to slam Blaze face first into a dumpster, but Blaze blocks it and slams HardKore into it.  The ref starts the count, but HardKore gets up at about six, only to get hit in the head with a trash can.  Blaze then stands him up and locks on the Hells Gate Chokeslam on to the top of the car.  The ref starts the count again, five....six....seven.....eight.....nine....HardKore gets to his feet!

Mike/Nether one of these men will stay down!

Blaze grabs HardKore by then head and slams it into the car a couple more times, and then sends him though the front window of a car.  The ref starts the ten count as HardKore lays in the car not moving.  Eight....Nine.....Ten!

Dolby/Blaze has won, and look at what he has done to HardKore.

The EMTs get out their and start to pull HardKore out of the car, he is still out cold, and now we can see that his face is all cut up.

Mike/Blaze might have gone one step to far here tonight!

The camera cuts to the roof of the Mark looking out off the river.  Standing near the edge of the roof is Jacket.

Jacket/It's all over now. At least for you, Straight Jacket. I've taken all I can take. You think that you can ruin all I've worked for? I destroyed all I could of you. I broke bones, I destroyed your life. Don't you remember, you were in love before I came along. Then you thought he was cheating on you. Darling, that reporter was under my command at the time, she wasn't into 12 Gage at all. Then I was under total control. I even had a title. Then you and those little red pills. Thought you had me done right? Thought that your little sickness was gone? Well, can't find em now, can you? Now your friends are gone. Who do think made the calls that drageed them away? Jacket, I am the black spots in your memory. I am the back spot of your life. I am your end.

With that she raises her arms and falls backwards off the building  the camera moves close the the edge of the building and looks down the side, all we see are the waves of the river smashing against the rocks below.

Dolby/I can't believe she just did that.

Just then The Frail begins.  The Trinity steps out from the curtain.

Dolby/Here comes this huge match.

Next DMX starts and Punisher, Stealth, and Zeus come out.

Dolby/This all started with a four corners match.  These three men and El Diablo for Diablos world heavyweight title.  Diablo eliminated both Punisher and Stealth, before it was down to just he and Zeus.  Then he got unexpected help from a returning Kurtus Spees.  Spees later declared that he would be warring with the BBOP.  He then recruited former world champion, Diablo, and showed Visigoth the light.  But the BBOP has other enemies as well.

the theme to 2001 starts.

Mike/And here they are!

The EWA walks out.  The three teams stand side by side in their respective corners.  Suddenly a brawl breaks out between the trinity and the EWA.  The BBOP stand alone.  Stealth stands between Punisher and Zeus.  They look at each other.

Dolby/Whats up with that?

They suddenly attack Stealth.  The crowd erupts.

Mike/What?!

Dolby/The BBOP has turned on Stealth!!

Zeus and Punisher throw Stealth over the top and follow him out.  The EWA begins to take control.  Blake Hart backs Diablo up against the ropes.  JohnathanWalker backs Kurtus Spees in to a corner.  In the opposite corner, Brink beats away on Visigoth.  Walker and Brink make eye contact.  They go to whip Spees and Visigoth in to each other.  Visigoth does a double reverse and whips Brink in to the same corner.  Spees just keeps going and does an avalanche in to the corner, on to Brink.

Mike/It backfired!!

Brink sulks in to the bottom of the corner.  Spees drops a leg and Brink rolls out.

Walker tries to charge at them, but Visigoth and Spees do a double clothesline.

Dolby/Oh my God!  Look!

On the outside Punisher is standing on top of a reinforced table.  Zeus rolls Stealth on to it.  Zeus climbs up.  They do a spiked piledriver through it.

Dolby/Oh my God!  His head went right through that table and down on to the cold hard concrete!!  Good God!!

In the ring, Blake Hart runs at Diablo, still against the ropes.  Diablo makes it a back body drop.  He flies all the way over the ropes on to the announce table and through it.

Mike/Jesus Christ!  What the hell?!

Dolby/This is Doomsday!

Walker gets up.  Both Spees and Visigoth kick him in the midsection.  They grab his head.

Dolby/Good God!  Look at this!

Kurtus Spees wraps his leg around that of Johnathan Walker.  He and Visigoth do a KFactor and an Elsewhere DDT at the same time.

Mike/Hell never get up from that!

Diablo flies from the top turnbuckle with the Morning Star Moonsault.

Dolby/Yes!

He stays on for the cover.  One...,...Two...,...Three!

Dolby/This Trinity is unstoppable when they are together!

Spees rolls out.  Stealth is actually crawling toward Spees.

Dolby/I cant believe hes moving!

Spees smiles demonically.  He helps up Stealth.  He grabs him by the neck.  Stealth slowly goes back down to his knees.  Spees then pulls him in and executes the FearFactor DDT in one swift motion on to the cold steel of the ramp!

Dolby/JESUS CHRIST!  THIS IS UNREAL!!

Mike/IS HE DEAD?!?!?!

Spees smiles again.

Mike/My god that match was insane.

Dolby/Hey look the timer its down to the last thirty seconds.

Its gets to ten seconds left and the titon tron changes and we see Time Square in New York.  The big clock in the middle of the square reads 11:59.  The ball starts to drop and the crowd starts to count out load.

Crowd/10...9...8...7..6..5...4...3...2...1, HAPPY NEW YEARS!

The fans are going crazy in times square and at the Mark.  We then start to hear strange noises...Then on the huge screen in times square we see a small man dressed like a chipmunk in a robe walks out onto a stage.

Midget/HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Tonight is the night of all nights....The world of all worlds and the pizza with all the goodies.  At this hour of midnight....Which it is.....A new era will begin. The revolution of revolution.....The damnation of masturbation.....The dickory of the dock....Yes fans the mouse and the clock....  Tonight the return comes through...Tonight The man of 2 faces becomes one....

It fades to black and then we hear a voice.

Voice/Many years of days and many days and months....THe minutes and seconds gather into hours. Like sand threw the hour glass so are the days of our lives.  Sometimes I feel like I'm  too many people..........Too many people at once.. Once the great pimp yoda said "Don't worry obiwon there is another"....I am the other.

Just then the lights come back on and we see its Dogma talking, and the fans go crazy!

Dogma/I'm dogma!!!!!!
